DJ Entertainment & Photo Booth Terms and Conditions last updated October 2024​

1. Booking Confirmation:

  • A non-refundable booking fee of $200 is required to secure your date and time. This fee will be deducted from the total balance due.

2. Payment Terms:

  • The total balance is due 10 working days before the event date. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card with a 2.2% surcharge , or cash on the night (by prior arrangement only).

3. Cancellations:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing. The booking fee is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled within 60 days of the event date, the total balance will be payable.

4. Date Changes:

  • Date changes can be made up to 90 days before the event, subject to availability. A new booking fee may apply.

5. Performance Duration:

  • The standard performance duration is a maximum 5 hours of music time. Additional hours may be available for an extra fee of $100 per hour or part thereof.

6. Equipment and Setup:

  • The DJ will provide all necessary equipment for the performance. The client is responsible for providing a suitable space and power source. A minimum setup time of 1.5 hours is required before the event starts.

7. Damage to Equipment:

  • The client is responsible for any damage to the DJ’s equipment caused by guests. The client agrees to reimburse the DJ for repair or replacement costs resulting from such damage.

8. Liability:

  • The DJ is not liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the event. The client assumes full responsibility for the event and the conduct of their guests.

9. Music Requests:

  • The DJ will accommodate reasonable music requests but reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the playlist to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience.

10. Conduct:

  • The DJ reserves the right to terminate the performance if the event becomes unsafe or if guests engage in inappropriate behaviour.

11. Force Majeure:

  • The DJ shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or other emergencies.

12. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Victoria in Australia.
